The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin
Recommended by Libby V:
Four children visit a woman who tells them their death dates. In the ensuing four sections of the book, we follow each child’s journey through life into adulthood. Lots of sadness and loss occurs and each character is developed in touching, relatable ways. The book ends on a hopeful, vital note, and you’ll be thinking about it and mortality long after you finish it.
